What We Do at COVE
The Community of Vermont Elders (COVE) is a private nonprofit located in Montpelier, Vermont.
We’re a small but powerful advocacy and education organization that has served the needs of older Vermonters since 1981. COVE brings a strong and consistent voice in public policy decision-making, with focus on the dignity, security, and happiness of aging people.
Everyone is getting older. There are critical, ongoing conversations that need to happen about health care, housing, and financial stability. Older people need representation in the lawmaking process to make sure these issues get the attention and financial support they need.
