COVE receives funding for Administrative, Staff and Project support from a number of funders each year. In 2013 COVE is receiving grant or sponsorship funds from the following institutions:
The Administration for Community Living (formerly the Administration on Aging) has funded the work of the Vermont Senior Medicare Patrol since 2003
COVE has received funding from the Vermont State Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and the Statewide Association of the Area Agencies on Aging to fund its operations, the Executive Director and its Policy Consultants.
Google and FairPoint sponsor the new “Safe Use of the Internet for Elders” program developed in 2015 as a means to educating seniors about protecting themselves from scams or computer virus’s that occur while using the internet or email. This program is offered to COVE member senior centers during 2015.
