Safe Use of The Internet Presentation for COVE Members

This educational program is funded by FairPoint Communications and Google to inform seniors about common internet scams, computer viruses, malware, and other suspicious electronic happenings. A new program offered by the Community of Vermont Elders (COVE). The discussion is free to COVE members and open to the public. For more information call COVE at 802-229-4731.

The presentation will be led by COVE, the Consumer Assistance Program of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, and Digital Force Computer Service.

At each seminar, a representative from the Vermont Attorney General’s Consumer Assistance Program, will share current fraud scams and trends and Frank Hoy of Digital Force Computer Service, will show how to identify and protect yourself From common scams, spam and viruses on the computer.
