Sandy Conrad has served as the Executive Director of the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging since May 2010. The organization provides services to elders and their families in the two county regions of Southwestern Vermont from offices in Bennington and Rutland with a staff of thirty-one people and an annual budget of approximately 3.2 million dollars.

Sandy holds a Bachelor’s of Art ~ Political Science degree from the University of Missouri ~ Kansas City (1987), and a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Vermont (2004).
Her prior Vermont work history includes seven years of leading the care management department of Gifford Medical Center of Randolph, and five years of work with the Central Vermont Council on Aging where she provided case management services to elders, their families and caregivers in the towns of Royalton, Sharon, Strafford, Tunbridge, Chelsea, Vershire, and East Bethel.
